Answers for St Patrick´s questions

1. When is St Patrick's celebrated? On march the 17th.
2. Where is it celebrated? In Ireland.
3. Who was in reality St Patrick? His real name was Maewyn Succat.
4. When and where was he born? In Britain in the year 385.
5. What happened to him in his youth which made him become a religious person? He was capturated by slave raiders from Ireland.
6. What did he do in Ireland? He founded more than 300 churches and baptized more than 120,000 people.
7. What's the traditional icon ( symbol) of Saint Patrick's Day? The so-called shamrock.
8. What do people do to celebrate this day? (Mention 2 or 3 things) People drink beer, wear green clothes and sing and dance in irish pubs.
