We are a group of students involved in a bilingual project at the IES Puerta de Cuartos in Talavera de la Reina Toledo. It´s a program supported by Ministerio de Educación and The British Council. Types of Hammer`s

In the World there is a lot of types of hammers and this are same:

The carpenter’s hammer can be in two patterns.

The claw hammer it is made in the shape of a claw, it is use to pull nails out.

The ripping hammer has a straight claw and we use it too, to take nails off.

The finishing hammer it is recommended for small workshops and general used for heavier framing work. And they have smooth faces.

The tack hammer it is used for driving tacks and brads and some magnetic heads.

Ball peen hammer: the face of the ball peen hammer is rounded with beleved edges.

Mallets: it is use primarily for striking another objects. Mallets are soft-faced , and are use mostly with wood and plastic-handle chisels.
